TAKING CARE OF A VEGETABLE: THE AFTER STORY

Life moved on for Brittany as she found a husband and quickly got married! Trevor was the love of her life and she couldn’t see herself with any other man! “So, I was thinking! Since you and dad are gonna be away for the weekend of my birthday! Maybe I could have a few friends over? Before the party next weekend?” Sophia asked carefully, Brittany looked up with a concerned stare as Sophia immediately began explaining further.

“IT WILL JUST BE ME ALANA AND CARLY! I PROMISE! I’m never going to have a party again! I learned my lesson and I PROMISE it will just be us three!” Sophia pleaded!

Brittany took a moment to think about it, taking another sip of coffee. Sophia was turning 18 tomorrow and unfortunately, it lined up with one of Trevor’s business trips. “I said I would think about it, and I will have to ask your father first too! Now if you excuse me, I need to go give Uncle Jimmy his vitamins” Brittany smiled as she stood up with one hand over her stomach, she was stuffed with food.

“NO! I’M NOT STAYING HOME! I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TRIP! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? JUST LEAVE JIMMY HERE? TELL THEM IT’S AN EMERGENCY!” Brittany yelled to her husband.

“Okay! Call me back RIGHT AWAY!” Brittany said before hanging up.

“What’s the problem?” Sophia asked as she looked up from her plate.

“Your welcome” Brittany smiled as Sophia got up and pushed her chair in, leaving all her dirty dishes for the maid to clean up

“I need to visit the ladies’ room, I will be back in a few minutes” Sophia turned to head out of the kitchen as Brittany stood up and stopped her.

“Wait, there’s something I need to show you first”

Jimmy could hear Brittany’s footsteps coming but she was with someone else too. Slowly the bathroom door opened and he could see his Niece Sophia standing behind Brittany.

“Years ago, When I ran over Jimmy with my new car, his insides were destroyed! He was going to die, but the doctors found a way to save him, to keep him here!
