They streamed, for one night only and exclusive for european viewers, a documentary featuring the director Adrian Maben, and the 1974 Live At Pompeii theatrical version. This film was recently scanned in 2K, from a version released to the american market back in 1974. The Yeeshkul community managed to record the live streaming, using a screen recording method. It was recorded with 60fps (default screen refresh rate is 60hz), but the broadcasted video had 25fps (european standard), so the frames got blended and it caused a bad motion effect. There are noticeable quality drops due to the changes of quality from the streaming. It happens when the player can't load the full quality video and loads a inferior video quality in order to avoid buffering problems. Topaz VEAI was able to enhance the video and restore many details that were lost due to the low bitrate from the source. DaVinci Resolve is always useful when it comes to color grading. The audio sources are the same from the previous upscale, just resynced to this version. I hope you enjoy it, and remember we still have a better source to come yet, so this is not the final upscale.
